How to deal with an abusive public official

Have you ever been in a situation where you are in shop or public office and you suddenly find yourself at the receiving end of a stressed out or hung over shop attendant or public officer? Such uncalled for tantrums are common and can be most disturbing. Imagine when a reason as minor as cancelling a purchase or asking for help when completing a form, triggers a deranged outburst.

Most of us retaliate to such situations by shouting back and verbal warfare ensues. As a result, you as the victim tend to walk off in a disgusted huff and the shop attendant or clerk lives to see another day of abusing innocent clients. You have probably think that the alternative to walking away is to shout back in an attempt to subdue the aggressor. Well allow me to suggest a third option.

Just when the idiot begins to snap and snarl, you need to open your eyes wide and blow up your cheeks, all the time imagining that you are a giant bull frog. Once you are in a proper full bull frog frame of mind, croak like any proud, deep voiced bull frog in a muddy pond would! A few seconds later, the official or attendant will shut his or her mouth in shock; you must follow suit. Should they get over the shock, and open their mouths again, be a bull frog again.

If bull frogs are not your thing, you can do the Amazonic-Tarzan-King Kong wail. Just as with the bull frog impression, you have to wait for your idiot to begin running his mouth off like a burst sewage pipe. When that happens, puff up your chest and beat it with clenched hands while yelling and screaming like a typical savage that has spent his or her life living with primates in some tropical forest.

The more the moron tries to abuse you verbally, the louder you must do your thing. The results are guaranteed. Enjoy watching this moron squirm or scurry away in absolute terror or embarrassment. You might also want to take advantage of the situation at that time to have your demands met. Believe me, just to make sure that you leave immediately, your adversary will see to it that you are attended to swiftly, quietly and efficiently. Your wish will definitely become his or her command!
